SONA

to be honest, After hearing the SONA, I didn't even understand maybe half of what GMA said.(hehe) I'm aware about the crisis that we're going through but I'm not just really updated about some terms that is used in politics.it's not that i don't care but well, what can i say? with an economy like this? i think it's better to just wait than try to frustrate myself from watching or hearing things that probably won't even happen.

scrapping of VAT-- our president gave a lot of reasons why it cannot be done. such as the business confidence will decline, interests will go up, the value of peso will fall, and the more commodity prices will rise. then i came to realize that she has a point. and i think VAT is for a good reason. it will help solve poverty in our country. this is just my opinion, but i think we should be more open minded, some people always ask for changes but they don't even know how to cooperate to the programs that could make "good changes" to our country. we cannot depend on the government alone, we also have to cooperate wiht them. i know that we are going through food and oil crisis but we cannot blame it all to the government. we are not the only ones who are suffering from this crisis. this is world wide. (except for the rice..:) ilabas na dapat lahat ng rice...please) like a couple of days ago, alot of public vehicles protested about the oil crisis. i think it won't do any better.

our country has alot of problems and i think instead of blaming other people, we should try to help them. i still believe that our economy can still improve. we just have to cooperate.
